Henrico Virtual Academy student recognized for superior academic achievement by The National Society of High School Scholars
RICHMOND, Va. & ATLANTA - Virginir -- The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) today announced student Jo'Ana Carter from Henrico, VA, has been selected to become a member of the esteemed organization. The Society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community commitment. The announcement was made by NSHSS Co-founder and President James W. Lewis.
"On behalf of NSHSS and our co-founder Claes Nobel, a member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes, I am honored to recognize the hard work, passion, and commitment that Jo'Ana has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence," said Lewis. Jo'Ana Maria Carter is a Richmond resident who will be entering into her Junior Year of high school this August.
Her aspirations are to be an BusinessWoman and entrepreneur at an early age. Her dream is to attend Harvard University for Business. She has already started her entertainment company and received Top 5 in her school in PSat scores.
While just releasing her Pop Music Dance video "Girls Club" by JMC Princess on all major digital platforms and now, solidifying her position in such an elite program like the National Society of High School Scholars, Jo'Ana is poised to make her mark on the future; in education and in business.
