Trilogy Sound Studio and Parkfest announce Parkfest Music Festival to Be Held on June 11, 2022

BURKE, Va. - Virginir -- BURKE, Va. — Show cancellations and other losses shared by the music community since early 2020 inspired Trilogy Sound Studio to sponsor and host Parkfest Music Festival 2022. COVID related setbacks prompted Trilogy Sound Studio to offer a unique opportunity for emerging musicians in the DMV area to perform their original music — reaching new audiences all while supporting local businesses through the Parkfest Music Festival.

Trilogy Sound Studio and Parkfest are also underwriting the costs associated with hosting this event without profit, making an even bigger effort to give back with 80% of ticket sales going back directly to the performing artists.

"When the community comes together, magic happens." said Sarah Benrazek, Creative Director of Trilogy Sound Studio. "We wanted to create a unique experience as a way to remind musicians that they can turn the pain of the pandemic into something beautiful for themselves and others by using their superpower—music."

Parkfest Music Festival will feature 14 acts, ranging from RnB, Hip Hop, Rock and International music. Some of the artists include Y.N.G Mac Jay, Marcus Alland, Eddie Lee, Heaven Hall and DC's up and coming alternative collective, the Shitty Whiskey Boys.

Parkfest Music Festival on June 11 is from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jean C. Smith Amphitheater at Locust Shade Park, 4701 Locust Shade Dr, Triangle, VA 22172. Gates open at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $15 per person.
