TenCate Advanced Armour Announces a New Name: Integris Composites

TYSONS CORNER, Va. - Virginir -- A company that has provided composite armor to military, law enforcement and security customers globally for 25 years, today changed its name from TenCate Advanced Armour to Integris Composites.

The company provides body armor plates for personal protection. It also designs, engineers and makes ballistic and blast protection for land vehicles, aircraft and naval vessels. Additionally, it develops antiballistic composites that serve as structural housings for sensitive technologies such as optronics.

"Our name has changed, but not our company, nor our dedication to customers and innovation, nor our commitment to creating cutting-edge composite solutions," said John W. Mercer, who was Executive Chairman of the Steering Committee until being named CEO in July.
