PRA Group Launches Pride Alliance Employee Resource Group

NORFOLK, Va., June 27, 2024 ~ PRA Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA) has recently launched its newest Employee Resource Group (ERG), Pride Alliance, in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. The global leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans held a virtual launch event yesterday, which was attended by over 70 employees from across the company's global operation.

Pride Alliance is the fifth ERG within PRA Group's U.S. business and the third to launch on a global scale. The group is designed to serve LGBTQ+ employees, allies, and advocates by providing a space that celebrates and embraces their community. Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Kim Carr and Senior Vice President of Business Development and Client Services Leigh Bates will serve as the group's founding executive co-sponsors.

Carr expressed her excitement about helping PRA Group create an inclusive and supportive workplace where all colleagues can feel comfortable being open about their identities. She believes that this will empower them to bring their whole selves to work every day, leading to better performance. Similarly, Bates shared her enthusiasm for supporting the LGBTQ+ community at PRA Group and helping its members reach their full potential.

During the virtual launch event, participants were given an overview of PRA Group's ERG program and how Pride Alliance plans to contribute through volunteer opportunities and educational resources. The leaders also engaged in meaningful conversations with attendees on how the group can foster inclusivity within the company while building a sense of community across the globe.

Pride Alliance joins four other ERGs within PRA Group - Women in Business Advocates, Well-Being, Black Excellence, and ¡Hola! - all of which aim to provide benefits such as mentorship networks and opportunities for giving back to address the diverse global workforce at PRA Group.

Carr and Bates are looking forward to growing Pride Alliance throughout the year with various initiatives that promote inclusivity within PRA Group. They believe that when employees can bring their true selves to work, the company becomes stronger and more successful.
