ProEssentialsJS free means free. No watermark. No feature gates. No expiry. No reduced feature set. It is the same engine a paying customer gets. There is no license key, no activation, no domain locking, no registration, and nothing in the package contacts Gigasoft at build time or run time.
Highcharts is licensed CC Attribution-NonCommercial. SciChart's Community edition watermarks every chart and requires an update every six months or the application stops working. LightningChart's free tier watermarks every chart, and its separate student license expires after a year. None of the three permits commercial work without paying. Highcharts, SciChart, LightningChart and ProEssentialsJS free-use terms are compared on one page.
