Announcing the appointment, Kent S. Greenawalt, who continues as chairman and CEO, says, "Over the years, Jamie has proven to be an innovative, knowledgeable and thoughtful executive leader, and has earned the respect and admiration of not only our employees, but also industry professionals who seek out her perspectives on the profession. The ongoing growth of Foot Levelers has been largely achieved through her dedication to expanded partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations and healthcare providers. She is recognized as a consensus builder who understands the importance of meaningful business development and creating revenue based upon global needs."
Greenawalt is a third-generation member of this family business that has dedicated itself to advocating for chiropractors and their treatments to help patients around the world. Her grandfather Dr. Monte H. Greenawalt founded Foot Levelers over 70 years ago and created an organization that has been in the forefront of a preventative course of treatment that aligns with the chiropractic profession's emphasis on proactive and natural care.
"This appointment is truly an honor for me and further confirms my decision three years ago to leave a position that took me across the world, including Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia where I worked alongside governmental and private sector entities on implementing strategies to advance access to basic health care and sustainable nutritious food," says Ms. Greenawalt, noting that her duties also included empowering and educating female business owners on securing credit and financial stability. "This opportunity to lead Foot Levelers in sustainable growth for the years ahead aligns with my successful record of unifying diverse groups to achieve results on a global scale. This invaluable perspective applies to the multitude of activities that will advance the many segments of our customer community."
Greenawalt has been receiving weekly chiropractic care for nearly 40 years and firmly believes that these treatments, along with proper nutrition, contribute to her quality of life and continued health.
"Every day I wake up and think about how we can help support chiropractic care, and expand it to the masses," she shares. "I have grown up witnessing the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care and its contribution to overall wellness through my association with Foot Levelers. In the words of Kent S. Greenawalt, 'The best is yet to come.'"
Ms. Greenawalt holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri. She earned an undergraduate degree in Global Studies and Environmental Science at the University of the South (Sewanee) and was named a Distinguished Young Alumni in 2017. She is passionate about giving back to the community and has served on numerous boards, including Women LEAD, Give to the World and North Cross School alumni board.
