MCLEAN, Va. - Virginir -- The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) has been named a "2024 Top-Rated Nonprofit" by GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits.
The Center is world-renowned for its science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education programs that inspire students to pursue and then excel in STEM careers.
"We are honored to be named a 2024 Top-Rated Nonprofit," said Joann P. DiGennaro, President of the Center. "We are immensely proud of our accomplishments this year, including hosting the forty-first Research Science Institute in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, hosting the 2024 USA Biolympiad National Finals on Marymount University's Arlington, Virginia, campus, connecting teachers to industry through CEE's Teacher Enrichment Program, and engaging rural and urban high school students through STEM Lyceums. All these activities were offered cost-free to participants thanks to the ongoing support of donors."
The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that CEE received from volunteers, donors, and aid recipients. "CEE is an amazing organization which provided me with life-changing educational opportunities," wrote an alum in an online review. Read all the Center's outstanding reviews here.
