Benevolent Family Services collaborates with HELP Inc. to kick off BFS 90, offering direct assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness in Hampton Roads.
HAMPTON, Va. - Virginir -- Hampton, VA – Benevolent Family Services is proud to announce the launch of its first BFS 90 initiative for 2025, a community outreach effort aimed at giving back to Hampton Roads' most vulnerable populations. In partnership with HELP Inc., Benevolent Family Services will be feeding homeless individuals at Bethany Methodist Church in Hampton, Virginia, on March 24, 2025, at 6:00 AM.
The BFS 90 initiative—short for Benevolent Family Services: 90 Days of Impact—was created to foster collaboration with community partners and strengthen the safety net for those most in need. Through this program, Benevolent Family Services commits to providing direct support every 90 days, focusing on feeding, clothing, and offering essential resources to individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
"At Benevolent Family Services, our mission is not just about providing mental health and substance abuse recovery services, but also about serving the whole person," said Ms. Rumph, CEO of Benevolent Family Services. "The BFS 90 initiative allows us to extend our reach beyond our offices and into the communities that need us most."
